How we handle your data.

Short policy, plain language. This is an informational site, so we collect very little — essentially just what a message you choose to send us needs, plus basic, privacy-friendly analytics. Nothing is ever sold.

1. Who we are

TVMountingNow ("we", "us") runs tvmountingnow.online, a free, independent, informational website about wall-mounting televisions. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit the site or send us a message.

If anything below is unclear, or you'd like a copy of any data we hold about you, write to hello@tvmountingnow.online and we'll reply in plain language.

2. What we collect

We keep this to a minimum.

  • If you use the contact form or email us: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in your message.
  • Basic, anonymous analytics about which pages are visited, to understand what's useful.
  • Standard server logs (such as your browser type and approximate region) that most websites record for security and reliability.

We do not sell products or services, so we never collect payment details, card numbers, or delivery addresses. There is no account to create and no order to place.

3. Why we use it

Your name, email and message are used for one thing: to read and reply to what you sent. Anonymous analytics are used only to improve the guide. That's the full extent of it.

We will never use your information for marketing, a newsletter, or anything you didn't ask for.

Where the law requires us to name a basis for handling your information, we rely on:

  • Consent — you choose to send us a message, and we use your details to reply.
  • Legitimate interest — to keep the site secure, reliable, and useful, and to understand which pages help readers.
  • Legal obligation — where we're required by law to retain certain records.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell or trade your information. The only third parties involved are the service providers that help us run the site:

  • Our hosting and email providers, which store the site and route your message to us.
  • Our analytics provider, which processes anonymous, aggregated usage data.

Each is expected to handle data responsibly and only as needed to provide their service.

6. How long we keep it

Messages you send are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then deleted. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate. We don't hold personal data longer than we have a reason to.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count visits and understand which pages are used. It does not set advertising cookies and does not follow you across other websites. See our cookies policy for the details.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • Send you a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate.
  • Delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it.
  • Restrict or object to how we use it.

The easiest way is to write to hello@tvmountingnow.online. We never charge for a reasonable request.

9. Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us a message, please tell us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change it here and, for material changes, add a short note at the top of this page for a period after the update.
